Most AI courses were written for someone else’s country. They have never seen a SHE file, a Section 16(2) appointment or a Department of Employment and Labour inspection. This one was built for ours.

Session 2 is a live build, not a lecture. Monique builds in front of you, step by step, and you replicate every step on your own device. You leave with working tools, not just notes.

• Visual Hazard AI. Upload a site photo and get a structured hazard report, PPE gap analysis, 5×5 risk scores and likely SA legal references.
• Smart Form & Checklist Builder. Inspection checklists, Permits to Work, toolbox talks, SOPs and registers from one well-engineered prompt.
• Microsoft Copilot for HSE. Use free Copilot Chat on your work account to turn an SOP into an inspection checklist. See what a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence adds in Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook, and build your own HSE agent.
• Your 90-day action plan. One tool to pilot, one process to transform, one outcome to measure.

HOW THE FOUR HOURS RUN

• Block 1: Foundations and your AI safety co-pilot. The R-B-T-C prompting framework, then build a cited co-pilot in NotebookLM.
• Block 2: Visual Hazard AI, Smart Forms and Microsoft Copilot. Photo to hazard report; checklists and permits from one prompt; Copilot Chat and licensed Copilot for HSE; a 5-minute live challenge.
• Block 3: The Safety Smarter App, live. An SA-built AI assistant for legal answers, hazard scoring, translation and incident help, with your 48-hour trial activated.
• Block 4: Govern and embed. POPIA and OHS Act briefing, a pre-upload checklist your IT can sign, and your 90-day plan.

THE RULE THAT NEVER BENDS

AI drafts. The competent person decides. Every output is a draft for review and sign-off under the OHS Act. We build on sample data only, and no delegate company data is uploaded during the workshop.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

SHE, SHEQ and HSE officers, practitioners, coordinators and managers, safety consultants and contractors, and SHEQ managers building team capability. It is ideal after Session 1, and also open to anyone who has already used ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot.

WHAT YOU NEED

• A laptop or desktop (a second screen helps) with a stable connection and Zoom
• A free Google account (for NotebookLM and Gemini), a free ChatGPT account, and your Microsoft 365 work account if you have one (for Copilot Chat)
• Optional: ChatGPT Plus to build your own Custom GPT, or a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence to follow the in-app demo. Neither is needed to take part.

MEET YOUR FACILITATOR

Monique Botha, Founder, HSE Prompts South Africa

Monique Botha is the founder of HSE Prompts South Africa and architect of the Safety Smarter App. She is a CQI/IRCA ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor with 20+ years in South African heavy industry, including Nestlé SA, Nampak, MechPro Engineering and Natref/Sasol. She does not lecture about AI. She builds in front of you until you can do it yourself.

CERTIFICATION AND CPD

Assessment is competence-based: you show what you have learnt by building your co-pilot and completing your 90-day plan. There is no written exam. Every delegate who completes the session receives a Certificate of Completion from HSE Prompts SA and INTRA, suitable for your CPD file. Saiosh CPD verification for Session 2 is in progress.

POPIA & COMPLIANCE NOTE

Delegates never need to upload real company or employee information during this training. All live builds use a fictional, POPIA-safe sample pack supplied by the presenters. All techniques are taught in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993. AI accelerates execution. Accountability and sign-off remain with the competent person at all times.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to attend Session 1 first?

It is recommended, not required. If you have used an AI chat tool before, you will keep up.

Will I need to pay for AI tools?

No. Free accounts cover the full session. If your company already has Microsoft 365 Copilot licences, you will see exactly how to use them for HSE too.

Does my company need Copilot licences?

No. Everyone builds on free Copilot Chat with a work account, or on ChatGPT or Gemini. Licensed delegates follow a second track inside Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.

Is my company information safe?

Yes. We work on a fictional sample pack only, and you leave with a pre-upload checklist to run before any real document touches an AI tool.

Can my whole team attend?
